Hey, parents. If you’re interested in free things for your kids to do during summer, Wild About Wildlife is a free virtual program that’s entertaining and educational.
It features educators from Zoo Miami, Manatee Lagoon in Riviera Beach, and other local organizations. It’s free for individuals and families.
From Wild About Wildlife summer camp information:
“The weekly virtual summer camp sessions will feature half-day morning schedules filled with animal observations, experiments, games, crafts and educational lessons hosted by educators from each organization. Camp sessions will feature a mix of live, prerecorded and do-at-your-own-pace content. Although lessons are targeted for children ages six to nine, other ages are welcome to register and participate.”
“Registrants are not required to participate in every lesson during a session. The camp schedule is provided as a guide for the week; however, participants can choose which lessons and activities they want to join or complete throughout the week.”
Registering online is required. Donations are accepted.
