The Design District already has a popular seasonal monthly program and now opera is coming to the neighborhood. For one night only, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m, experience a freepop-up opera performance at Paradise Plaza.
Kicking off the evening will be DJ Keen One, who will spin tunes for an hour prior to the performance. Then at 7 p.m., a trio of Miami’s top opera brass take the stage.
Tenor Edgar Miguel Abreu, mezzo-soprano Courtney Miller and soprano Nathalie Avila, will perform a program featuring well known songs from Turandot, Rigoletto and La Traviata.
