The main street through Miami Shores, Northeast Second Avenue, gets transformed into a festival celebrating everything eco-friendly and green during Green Day Miami Shores on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Between 95th Street and 100th Street on NE 2nd Avenue in Downtown Miami Shores, the streets will shut down. With a wide variety of vendors, activities and interactive exhibits, they’ll have everything from food trucks and craft beer to artisanal booths, green markets, and exhibits from local businesses and organizations. In addition, Green Day will feature a massive Kids’ Zone, featuring inflatables, sports activities, special Barry University athlete appearances and more.
You can also grab some great eats, take your pick from restaurants in the craft food & beer zone or at several local food trucks while jamming to the live beats from bands The Hoy Polloy and Silent Shout.
Kids’ Zone wristbands $5 each, cash only.
