Learning to swim is a life-saving skill especially in Florida.

The city of Miami Beach is offering free learn to swim classes to kids from 6 months to 5 years old.

Classes for Aqua Babies (6 months to 2 years) begin Aug. 26 and Sept. 30. There are five free classes in each series, running 9:45-10:15 am Saturdays and Sundays at Flamingo Park and Normandy Isle pools.
