Miami Design District offers free guided art tours

Did you know the Miami Design District offers free guided tours of the neighborhood’s world-renowned public art and architecture?

“Fly's Eye Dome” at Palm Court.

The tours take place on the first and third Saturday of the month at 11 a.m., typically starting from the artwork entitled, “Fly's Eye Dome,” in Palm Court, 140 NE 39th St. The next ones are on April 6 and 20.

Here's the thing: These tickets go fast! So if you wait till the end of the week to try to score some, you may be too late.

Tours feature the area's galleries and unique architecture and include conversations with artists and gallerists in their spaces. For more information or to get your tickets, click here

If you love art:

When it comes to viewing art, it can be good to think outside the box: This means it’s not always necessary to go inside a boxy museum to view it.

Miami has plenty of public art you can see from your car or while on a stroll. Click here to find public art around town.
