Free events for Old Dillard Museum 100th anniversary

Free festivities are offered for an historic landmark in Broward that was the first school in the region for African-American students about 100 years ago.

Old Dillard Museum, the former venue for Dillard High School, is presenting the events.

  • 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 25, 2024, tour, art exhibit and live entertainment at Old Dillard Museum, 1009 NW Fourth St., Fort Lauderdale 33311
  • 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., April 26, 2024, art exhibit and stories at Dillard High School, 2501 NW 11th St., Fort Lauderdale 33311
  • 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27 cookout with games and entertainment featuring Walker Elementary School Band.  It's at Osswald Park, 2220 NW 21st Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33311. Bring your own seats.
