Free bike ride through Aventura this Sunday

The City of Aventura and the Aventura Police Department will host Share the Road, a bike safety and ride event to promote safe cycling practices on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at Founders Park.

The event, at 3105 NE 190th St., will feature bike safety presentations and distribution of a limited number of helmets and water bottles. Participants can get helmets fitted, learn about basic bike maintenance, enter to win prizes, and speak with representatives of the City’s bike-share program, Aventura B-Cycle.

Members of the Aventura Police Department will escort riders around Aventura, starting at 10 a.m. The event begins at 9 a.m.
