Farmers Markets are popping up all over the nation to provide local fresh farm-to-table goods for consumers. It also helps local farmers and growers with sales. In Miami-Dade County, these markets are currently operating:
This farmers market takes place the 2nd weekend of every month from March through October from 10 am-9:30 pm Saturdays and noon-8 pm Sundays at Aventura Mall, 9501 Biscayne Blvd.
This farmers market is scheduled for these dates in 2017: Jan. 3, 8, 22; Feb. 5, 19; March 5, 19; and April 2, 23; May 7, 21 at Founders Park, 3105 NE 190 St., from 9 am to 1 pm.
Coral Gables-City Hall
This farmers market ran on Saturdays from Jan. 14 through March 25, 2017.
Coral Gables-University of Miami
Shop on the university campus, 1320 S Dixie Hwy., between the library and student center from 9 am-3 pm Wednesdays Sept. 30-May, except when school is closed.
Shop from a variety of fresh produce, snacks, jewelry and textiles from vendors across South Florida at the Downtown Dadeland Market, on Southwest 72nd Place between 89th Street and 90th Lane, from noon-6 pm Saturdays from Aug. 20-Dec. 17.
Also in Dadeland, shop the farmers market year-round from 9 am-3 pm Wednesdays at the Dadeland North Metrorail Station, 8300 S. Dixie Hwy.
Located outside Las Ramblas by Entry 3 from 11 am-4 pm on these 2017 dates: Oct. 22, 29; Nov. 5, 12; Dec. 3. The mall is located at 11401 NW 12th St, Miami, FL 33172.
Brickell City Centre, the highly anticipated mixed-use project nearing completion in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, is the host of the Brickell City Centre Farmers Market, which runs every Saturday. The farmers market runs along the landscaped pathway that runs between Seventh Street and Eighth Street, directly underneath Miami’s Metromover track. The market features conventional and organically grown produce as well as a variety of cheeses, breads and prepared foods. Zak the Baker bread, local honey, orchids, fruit smoothies, Argentinian empanadas, artisanal olive oil and herb plants round out the growing list. The market opens 10 am-4 pm Saturdays at 700 Brickell Plaza.
Fresh produce, local honey, acai bowls, specialty foods, handmade beauty products, baked goods, kettle corn, plants and flowers, jewelry, artisanal jams and jellies, brick oven pizza, fruits and juices and more at this market open 4-9 pm Wednesdays at the Jungle Plaza on Northeast 38th Street and 1st Avenue. Self-parking $3 and valet $5.
The vendors at the Civic Center Station near Jackson Hospital provide fresh produce, flowers and more year-round from 9 am–3 pm Tuesdays at 1601 NW 12th Ave.
Also, shop at the University of Miami Jackson Campus on the Fred Cowell Mall (near Calder Library) from 9 am-3 pm Thursdays – Aug. 4 & 18; Sept. 1, 15 & 29; Oct. 13 & 27.

The Upper Eastside Farmers Market provides produce, local honey, orchids and bromeliads, breads and crackers, fresh juices and more. EBT cards are accepted, with EBT funds doubled up to $10 per user. The market opens from 9 am-2 pm Saturdays year-round at Northeast 66th Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
“Discover a World of Deliciousness” at the Wynwood Farmers Market, which will host a curated collection and variety of locally grown, artisanal foods, local fruits and vegetables, hand crafted objects for the kitchen and home, and more. Expect to see locally farmed produce, gourmet prepared foods, grass fed meats, hand-crafted pottery and wood bowls, plates and utensils, plants, herbs and a special section with natural treats and foods for pets. There also may be cooking demos taught by local guest chefs and live music. West Dade-Tropical Park
The Southwest Community Farmers Market offers local and organic vegetables and herbs, fruits, honey and more. EBT benefits are doubled up to $10. The market opens from 9 am-3 pm Saturdays year-round at Tropical Park near the Bird Road entrance, at 7900 Bird Rd.
Find the freshest produce and breads year-round at the Kendall Village Farmers Market. More than 40 vendors are on hand selling the freshest produce, flowers, plants, homemade baked goods as well as arts and crafts and jewelry.
