Family-friendly patriotic events in South Florida focus appreciation on law enforcement  officers, firefighters and armed forces personnel.

September 11 is Patriot Day.

Events include

Tribute to America’s Heros

The event is 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. September 11 oceanside in Fort Lauderdale

Registration online is required for the free event, 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale 33316

Festivities includes Human Baton exhibitions: 

  • Skydiving
  • Drifting
  • Supercar
  • Thundercat Race Boats

Exhibitions feature teams representing police, firefighters, patriots, and military.

Other features include a fun zone and vendors

Honk your horn in appreciation for first responders. Fire & police vehicles on display.  Goody bags distributed while supplies last, one per vehicle, information is online
