Garden After Dark series

The abundance of colorful foliage and delicate ponds at Miami Beach Botanical Garden adds to the ambiance of its bimonthly special event, “Garden After Dark.”

On Thursdays, from 5:30-8 p.m., enjoy:

  • Live Music
  • Shop and tour with Gaylord 
  • Art exhibit “En Plein Air” and a meet-and-greet with artist Gaspar Saldhana
  • Yoga sessions with Will Thomas on the Great Lawn
  • Pop-up shops
  • Garden center visit
  • Cocktails and light fare for purchase

Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers. The yoga session costs an additional $10.

Safety notice: Mask wearing, social distancing and prescribed pathway guidelines will be in place to ensure a safe experience.

The live entertainment schedule is as follows:

Nov. 5: Miami's local band Cortadito performs Cuban dance music. Their sound is described as an updated Buena Vista Social Club.

Nov. 19: One of Miami's most popular DJs, DJ Le Spam, plays a blend of classic soul, ska and Latin music from his vast vinyl collection.

Dec. 3: Rose Max Samba Band features the Brazilian singer belting out authentic samba tunes with her full band as backup.

Dec. 17: Holiday Jazz Band features the trio of Kelly Davis, Julie Dow and Paul Shewchuck performing parodies and songs of holiday songs from all faiths and traditions.
