Readers of South Florida on the Cheap have a chance to attend a free advance screening of “Gracie and Pedro: Pets to the Rescue,” which opens in theaters October 18, 2024.
The animated film stars the voices of Susan Sarandon, Bill Nighy, Brooke Shields, Danny Trejo, Alicia Silverstone, Al Franken, Claire Alan, Cory Doran and Bianca Alongi. It is rated PG.
Here is the description of the film:
Gracie and Pedro, two beloved pets who don’t get along, are thrown into an unexpected adventure after being separated from their family during a cross-country move. Stranded in an unfamiliar land, pampered show dog Gracie and street-smart alley cat Pedro must put aside their differences and rely on each other to find their way home. Along their journey, they meet colorful characters and face daunting obstacles, ultimately discovering their shared determination and love for their family.
