Free Hot Wheels Legends tour

Remember those colorful, plastic oval tracks with Hot Wheels cars whizzing by doing all kinds of turns, jumps and loops? You can relive those days when the Hot Wheels Legends Tour comes to Miami on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

One of 13 stops on the tour, the family event will feature on-site experiences with partners Walmart and Dickies and title sponsor Mobil 1 from 8 a.m. to noon at Walmart Doral, 8651 NW 13th Terrace.

And guess what? This event is free!

At each stop, a team of judges – including members of the Hot Wheels design team, automotive influencers and Walmart store managers – cast votes for the cars they wish to see immortalized into a Hot Wheels die-cast toy. However, this year Hot Wheels will give one regional winner the opportunity to have their custom garage creation reimagined as a limited-run, die-cast vehicle.

“After four years and dozens of events, it’s incredible to see how much the Hot Wheels Legends Tour has grown, both in the U.S. and abroad,” said Ted Wu, vice president and global head of design for vehicles for Mattel, in a statement. “Pivoting largely to virtual events over the past two years, we saw the competition unite in an entirely new community of global garage builders and Hot Wheels fans. We’re excited to continue this growth in 2022 as we return to our live event roots.”

In addition to the life-sized Hot Wheels fleet of cars, there will also be a kids' zone, photo opportunities and car and pop culture influencers. For more information, click here.
