Day of the Dead festival

Riverwalk, the Puppet Network and Damn Good Hospitality will present the 15th anniversary Florida Day of the Dead celebration on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale.

The free event will be 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with the official skeleton processional parade stroll starting at 6:30 p.m. at Esplanade Park on the Riverwalk. 

Here is the schedule:

  • Street festival and Folklorico Stage, 3 to 8 p.m. This event will include traditional performances, larger-than-life puppets, Latin cuisine, crafts and more.
  • Day of the Deal Stroll, 6:30 p.m. The parade of costumed characters and puppets begins at Esplanade Park and ends along the New River.
  • 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Street party in front of Revolution Live.
