The International Ballet Festival of Miami, around for more than three decades in Miami, is hosting a few free dance performances in August.
The cutting edge dance program features national and international guests and modern and contemporary dance companies, presenting an exciting and eclectic mix of dance styles and music. There will be performances by contemporary dance companies from Italy, Columbia, Switzerland, France, and the United States of America.
The two scheduled performances are:
Thursday, Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. on Lincoln Road at Euclid Circle on Miami Beach
Friday, Aug. 11, at 8 p.m. at Brickell City Centre, Garden Deck, Second Floor
The Miami Hispanic Ballet Company was established in 1993 as a non for profit dance organization dedicated to identifying and promoting professional dance artists of Hispanic descent in Miami-Dade County. Since its inception, Miami Hispanic Ballet has also taken the role of producer and presenter bringing major gala performances of proven artistic excellence leading to the creation of the Annual International Ballet Festival of Miami.
