Easter events & deals

Family-friendly events for Easter and Spring are offered in South Florida. Often an Easter Bunny — or Peter Rabbit or Spring Bunny —  is on site. 

Many events feature egg hunts for youngsters. Bring your own bags.

Some events are offered for free, or relatively inexpensive fees. Some are for residents only.

Boynton Beach

Egg-Stravaganza is 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. April 16 includes egg hunts, face painting & photo ops with bunny. Egg hunts for ages 1 – 12 are at 11 a.m. , Information: 561-742-6550 or website. Venue is 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd.,
Boynton Beach, with shuttles from 225 NW 12th Ave.





Royal Egg Hunt is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. April 9 at Sunrise Sportsplex, 9101 NW 50th Street. Entry is $5 per participant. Other features include photo ops with King Bunny, face painting, art fun, & rides.  For information, 954-747-4600 or  online,.

Egg hunt events

  • 10:15 a.m.  walkers – age 2
  • 10:45 a.m.  age 3
  • 11:15 a.m.  age 4
  • 11:45 a.m.  ages 5 and 6
  • 12:15 p.m.  ages 7 and 8
  • 12:45 p.m.  ages 9 to 12


Royal Bunny egg hunt & activities are 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.  April 16, with photo ops & inflatable games. Egg hunt is at 10 a.m. for 10 and younger. If participating, please arrive early. Venue is Weston Regional Park, 20200 Saddle Club Road, Weston 33327. Information is online

Coral Springs, residents only, registration required

Hoppin’ Into Springs Egg Hunt is April 9 at Sportsplex Park, 2800 Sportsplex Drive. Registration by April 7 is required. Egg hunt event is for youngsters ages 3-8 who reside in Coral Springs.

Festivities include DJ, art activities and a Bunny.  Information is online.
