Aside from being a world-class museum on the water and Miami's beacon of culture, Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) also has an amazing open-air patio.
There, you can sit and watch the cruise ships and the spectacular bay view. The patio is also the site of the free Thursdays at PAMM, a weekly cultural happening from 5 to 10 p.m. featuring musicians and themed cultural events. The events are free with RSVP.
Before the main event, visitors can tour the galleries, hear live DJs on the terrace, browse tables by community organizations, and enjoy happy hour drinks and specials at Verde.
Here's the upcoming musical schedule on the terrace:
April 11, 6-8 p.m.: Backroom sessions with guitarist and singer Lucia Nuñez who will perform jazz, bossa nova, boleros, rhythm and blues and classics.
April 18, 6-8 p.m.: Backroom sessions with Anthony Capo and G.G. Capo, a drummer, keyboardist and vocalist will be accompanied by Will Tram and his psych sounds.
