Jiménez Deredia is considered one of the most successful and well-known Hispanic plastic artists worldwide for his ability to fuse classical sculptural tradition with elements of Mesoamerican culture; besides being the first Latin American artist to place one of his works in the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican.
This free and outdoor exhibition is presented by the Bayfront Park Management Trust and the Museum of the Cuban Diaspora. Maurice A. Ferré Park is located at 1075 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132.
The park is bordered on the north by I-395, Metromover, and the former Miami Herald headquarters, on the south by the American Airlines Arena and Bayside Marketplace, on the west by Biscayne Boulevard and on the east by Biscayne Bay.
