We’re giving away three pairs of tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s Totem at Sun Life Stadium.

The show is a dreamy journey into the evolution of mankind. (YouTube video).

The two tickets are for Sunday, Feb. 3, at 5:30 p.m.

Site opens is at 4:45 p.m. The Grand Chapiteau opens at 5 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium, 2269 NW 199th St, Miami Gardens, 33056.

Here’s how to enter the contest:

  1. Subscribe to our daily feed from Miami on the Cheap or Fort Lauderdale on the Cheap. If you already subscribe, proceed to step 2.
  2. Leave a comment at the end of this post with your favorite free or cheap tip for South Florida.
  3. Deadline to enter is midnight Thursday, Jan. 31.

The drawing will be conducted and winners will be notified Friday, Feb. 1. Winners will receive their tickets via email.

Contestants must be 18 or older. One entry per household. Winners must be residents of South Florida.

    This event happens every first Friday of the month thru May 7, 2013.

    It is a free street party in the heart of coral gables with live entertainment and a number of dining options. If you choose to eat on Girlada, there are a number of fantastic restaurants to choose from that offer “al fresco” dining. It truly is a perfect setting to enjoy an evening stroll under the stars with friends, family, or significant others.

  17. I subscribe to the Miami-Dade weekly roundup email. They list happenings at the parks, libraries and museums, which are usually free or low cost. Added bonus is that most of those events are family-friendly!

  22. I read Miami on the Cheap everyday and I love the info about free or cheap concerts and events. I learned about the Haitian concerts every month, the concerts and Bayfront, deals on plays, art shows and other events. As a student, I am constantly trying to save money while looking for fun things to do in Miami! My advice is to subscribe to Miami on the Cheap, Living on the Cheap, Thrillist, Groupon, LivingSocial, etc. Also, if you give your info to the Miami Improv, they will call you with free tickets to shows!

  23. I’d love to see totem with my boyfriend. My best tip is to read Miami on the cheap and Miami new times for free events and stuff. Also sign up for free stuff at different stores like Walmart. That works too!

    EVERYTHING. I read Fort Lauderdale on the cheap every single day and I get great savings on everything from concerts to restaurants.

  26. CulturalConnection.org is a great place for same day tickets at half-price for South Florida theater. You can get tickets starting at 12:01 AM for that day.
