Win tickets to movie ‘Great Art on Screen’

great-art-onscreen-munch-300x378If time and money were no object, we could all travel the world to see the greatest art of all time.

For those of us who can’t do that, a new film series, “Exhibition: Great Art on Screen,” is bringing the world’s great art exhibitions to us. The next film of the series features the work of Edvard Munch, with art historian Tim Harlow showing and telling about the work of the Norwegian artist known for his painting “The Scream.” The film is co-hosted by the National Museum and the Munch Museum in Oslo, where the artwork is on display.

The film is part documentary and part museum visit, presented in HD. A film about Vermeer will be shown in October (stay tuned for the giveaway).

The Munch film will be shown at cinemas around the world at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27. Five lucky readers of Miami on the Cheap will win a pair of tickets to see the film (a $30 value) at the Sunset Place 24 in South Miami.

Hi Miami On Cheap, my favorite place to be at in South Florida would be the Adrienne Arsht Center. My wife and I love to watch Opera and Musical shows there. My wife is a big fan of Edvard Munch Artwork. The most famous painting is the The Scream and would like to see that painting on Screen in her own eyes to see her eye sparkle. Hope I am able to win a pair of tickets for us.

My favorite place in South Florida would probably be going to the Key West and go fishing at a bridge with my husband and family. We would have a small picnic there and relax under a tree. I have to say that I am very happy with Miami on Cheap. Last two weeks I was able to go to the free event of the boat shows with my family. I know that I don’t make that much money working at a store selling products and my husband lost his job. I have two young children. Our Anniversary is coming up June 27th, its been 25 years that I have been married to my husband and would be an honor to win two tickets for the Great Art on Screen, by Edvard Munch. This would be the best gift i can give my husband for our Anniversary. I have done different contest to win different kind of tickets and events, that Miami on Cheap has been offering and i know it is hard to choice a winner, but I won’t give up some day I will win something and I hope that day is soon. Thank you so much Miami On Cheap you have been good to me and my family god bless you.
