The Miami Beach Botanical Garden’s Garden Market returns for the season beginning Wednesday, Jan. 8 ,and continues weekly until April 16. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2000 Convention Center Dr.
That’s four months of fresh local produce, plants and more. Vendors from The Market Company will be selling freshly made bread and French pastries, local produce, jams, honey, candles, soaps and more. The Garden Market is part of the Miami Beach garden’s efforts to provide green living solutions for the community.
While there, channel your inner Zen during the yoga session by Terra-Nova that incorporate strengthening, stretching and relaxation. The classes are open to students of all experiences and levels. Suggested donation is $5 for Botanical Garden members and $10 for non-members.
You can also trade in your orchid for a coupon for $5 off a new one during the plant sale and orchid exchange from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. With the coupon, you can purchase single-stem Phalaenopsis species from the garden for $10. There’s also a collection of palms, bromeliads and other tropical natives for sale.
