Miami Attractions Month, which ran the month of October, has now been extended through November 21.  Buy one get one free tickets and other great offers.

Choose among attractions from historic to adventuresome, natural to man-made. Old World-style villas. Animal and botanical sanctuaries. Glass-bottom boats. A River of Grass. The promotion is organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.

museummonthHere’s a spring deal for residents and tourists.

From May 1-31, membership in one museum will give you free admission to all the others. In celebration of Miami Museum Month, some participating museums are planning special events.

Institutions participating in the Miami Museum Month promotion include:

¤ The Haitian Heritage Museum
¤ Historical Museum of Southern Florida

¤ Miami Children’s Museum
¤ Miami Science Museum
¤ Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)

Some museums will provide free admission to all Friday, May 1. Check with the individual museums to see if they are participating in the free Friday event.
