Black Friday: Salvation Army 50% Sale

“Black Friday” at the Salvation Army Family Stores will have bargains galore on Friday, November 23, for shoppers at their three Super Stores in Miami/Dade. All merchandise will be on sale at 50% off. Stores will open at 6 a.m. and close at noon.

The Salvation Army Family Super Stores offers great deals and bargain prices on clothing, furniture, holiday decorations, household goods, sporting equipment, books, electronics and much more.

This includes clothing for men, women and children. Couple of weeks ago I got a great deal on a Pier 1 Kids bed and was able to talk the price down a bit. The quality of the Salvation Army has improved over the years and it’s always a fun treasure hunt to visit there. And it’s all for a good cause.

100% of the proceeds from sales at the Salvation Army Family Super Store go directly to the operation of The Miami Adult Rehabilitation Center serving men with social, emotional, spiritual or substance abuse problems. The center provides housing, nutrition, counseling and social case work. The goal is to help the men re-enter society and to return to gainful employment and a normal lifestyle.

Salvation Army Family Stores: Discounts on signed prints by Colombian artist, Noble

The Salvation Army Family Stores of Miami have received 150 numbered and signed prints by the Colombian artist, Noble (Miguel de la Espriella) a self-taught painter and sculptor whose art has been presented widely within his country and throughout the world.

There are three different prints that retail for $100 per print, with the certificate of authenticity. The Salvation Army Family Stores prices are as follows: $49.99 for prints with certificate of authenticity. Twelve of each print have certificates of authenticity that are printed in Spanish.  $14.99 for prints that are signed and numbered without certificate.

The Salvation Army and other secondhand stores have a great selection of cheap art. Or you buy it and just use the frame (like in a How I Met Your Mother episode).

Salvation Army Family Stores designer handbag samples sale

The Salvation Army Family Stores of Miami have received a large shipment of designer handbag samples from JPK Paris 75. The hand bags retail from $120 and up. They are going to be priced from $9.99 – $14.99. A few of the larger leather ones will be $19.99 and up. The hand bags will hit the Miami-Dade stores this Friday, September 7.

Founded in 2007 by Parisian designer, Jean-Pierre Klifa, JPK Paris75 reflects Klifa’s vision for sophisticated, vibrant and unique fashion accessories.

UPDATE: Ask for the new designer bags that have just arrived. If you are having trouble locating them, please ask to speak to the store manager. The downtown Miami store only has a few handbags left in stock.

The latest Salvation Army Family Super Store opens on Saturday, June 23. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m.; shoppping gets under way at 9 a.m. The thrift store is at 453 N. Krome Ave., Florida City.

Some stores may be selling school uniforms, along with pants, jeans, shirts,  shoes and backpacks.
