Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the City of Doral with a variety of events. Enjoy events such as free salsa lessons to a parade of native dresses at Miami International Mall.
September 21 – “Fashionia” Noche de Honor – Honoring Hispanic Stars who are making a difference in our community. $35 donation per person to benefit the Simon Youth Foundation and La Liga Contra el Cancer Miami International Mall, 1455 NW 107 Ave., Doral, in center court. Reception begins at 6 p.m.
September 22 – Rhythm of Nations & Parade of Native Dresses – Featuring historical folkloric dances and a festive display of native dresses from 21 Hispanic countries, Miami International Mall, 1455 NW 107 Ave., Doral. Event starts at 1 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
September 25 through October 16 – Salsa Lessons – at Morgan Levy Park Community Center. Classes are free for Doral residents or $5 per class for non-residents. Classes will be every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., Morgan Levy Park, 5300 NW 102nd Ave., Doral, To sign up for classes, visit the community center.
September 29 – Dominoes Tournament –City of Doral and the South Florida Dominoes Association are joining together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage at “El Arepazo,” 10191 NW 58 St., Doral.
