Through Saturday, Dec. 10, score American Apparel items for up to 90 percent off.
Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and there’s a free shuttle from the American Apparel store on Miami Beach at Washington Avenue and Espanola Way.
The sale takes place in the Wynwood Convention Center, 2136 NW First Ave., Wynwood.
The Miami Downtown Development Authority’s DWNTWN Shuttle will provide free transportation to all of the major destinations in Downtown Miami, Wynwood and Midtown during Art Basel.
The Shuttle is in collaboration with Art Days, a program to promote arts in and around downtown Miami.
The free shuttle will run every 30 minutes from a.m. to 11 p.m. Nov. 30 through Dec. 4.
It will stop in Midtown (Art Miami, Scope, Red Dot and Art Asia), Wynwood, Pulse Art Fair, CIFO/Legal Art, Grand Central, Miami Art Museum, Mary Brickell Village, Mandarin Oriental, JW Marriott Marquis, Bayfront Park/Intercontinental Hotel and the Arsht Center. You can see a map of the route here.
The Taste of MiMo, in which restaurants in Miami’s Upper East Side MiMo District offer low-price samples of their cuisine, will be noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5., along Biscayne Boulevard between 67th and 78th streets.
During the event, there will be free shuttle service to galleries in the Design District/Wynwood and the MiMo District as part of a new monthly art walk, Miami Art Week and Art Basel.
And, the area’s newest restaurant, Luna Corner Pizza, 6815 Biscayne Blvd., will celebrate its grand opening with free pizza samples from noon to 6 p.m. Students from the Miami Arts Charter school will provide entertainment.
