Call it Dia de San Patricio. The Stage presents its first annual Latin Funk O’Delic, with Conjunto Progreso, Ketchy Shuby and Electric Piquete performing for those 21 and older. Doors open at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 17; there’s a $10 cover and $5 mojitos. The Stage is at 170 NE 38 St.

The Latin Jazz group Conjunto Progreso will give a free concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at the community center playing fields on Park Drive North in MIami Shores.
Food, drinks and blankets are welcome. Pets are not.
The Optimist Club will be sell sandwiches and snacks, and Jewel the Clown will do face painting for the kids.
The final event in the Downtown Miami Concert Series will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, and feature a free concert by Conjunto Progreso with special guest Arturo Sandoval.
Conjunto Progreso, a traditional Cuban orchestra, is celebrating its 10th anniversary and will be joined by jazz trumpeter Sandoval. There also will be live paintings by Lebo.

DJ Le Spam & the Spam Allstars have achieved national success and recognition. They blend improvisational electronic elements and turntables with Latin, funk, hip-hop and dub to create an electronic descarga.

The free Coldwell Banker Miami Beach Festival of the Arts will be 10 a.m. to 6 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 7, and Sunday, Feb. 8, at Ocean Terrace (East of Collins from 73rd to 75th Street).
This juried festival will showcase the work of 150 artists from across the nation.
The festival will include free performances by Spam Allstars, Very Normal People, Conjunto Progreso, DJ Maximus and Suenalo.
