On Saturday, Feb. 18, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., catch this free event featuring collaborations by Deering Estate and Legal/Art artists in residence, outdoor installations and one-night-only events. Earlier in the day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there’s the Exhibit and Music Emergination, with a Book Nook By the Bay Eco-Art, performances and more; that’s free with admission to the estate ($12 adults, $7, ages 4-14). It all happens at the Deering Estate at Cutler, 16701 SW 72 Ave.

The 40th annual event South Miami Art Festival takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

More than 150 artists and food vendors will be present. There is no charge for admission. It happens along Sunset Drive between U.S. 1 and Red Road.

Artists Sandi Levy, Terry Arroyo Mulrooney and Diane Lary of the Miami Watercolor Society present works that represent natural beauty as depicted in painting with water. The exhibit opens Monday, Jan. 10, and runs through Saturday, Jan. 15. The opening reception, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, is free to the public. While a visit to Art Basel Miami Beach can be costly, Zones Art Fair welcomes you with no admission charge.The fair, which emphasizes the work of up-and-coming artists, is open on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday you can visit from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 4, there’s a reception from 8 to 10 p.m. Zones Art Fair is at 47 NE 25 St.
