On Sunday, April 8, at 3 p.m., the Arts at St. Johns series continues with live jazz: free, bebop, fusion, Latin and modern. Trumpeter Zoltan Grof will perform with the Nestor Zurita Trio: Zurita on alto sax, percussionist Ivan Zervigon and Nestor del Prado on bass. Admission is a suggested donation of $10. The four will play in the church at 4760 Pine Tree Dr., Miami Beach.

parrotJungle Island is having a “Nabor Day” promotion this Labor Day weekend, with admission fees slashed to $10 per person (plus) tax for residents of Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The reduced rate is good Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Sept. 5-7. Proof of residency required for all.
