Roxy Theatre Group Presents ‘Good Heavens: Actors Gone Wild’

The Roxy Theatre Group, a youth arts program, is premiering Roxy Kids18 (RK18) this weekend. The new division of the program provides students 18 and up an opportunity to further develop their theater craft.

The group was launched to offer RTG alumni, as well as other young adult students, an alternative venue where they can perform productions that address mature subject matters, such as love, sex and gender issues, and death.

The Roxy Theatre Group will kick off their 18+  theater division this Saturday, November 17 at 8 p.m. with Good Heavens: Actors Gone Wild, a concert benefiting RK18. Cast members of The Wild Party will perform selections of their choice. General Admission is $10. RK18 includes participation in theater productions and master classes. There is no charge associated with RK18.

RTG’s upcoming musical production, The Wild Party (December 8th-16th) by Andrew Lippa is the organization’s first show to feature RK18, as the cast is entirely comprised of RTG alumni and other students that are currently attending college or pursuing a professional career in the theater industry. The Wild Party, an award-winning, Off-Broadway hit, is a passionate tale of relationships, living on the edge, and moral indulgence.

The Roxy Theatre Group is located at 1645 SW107th Avenue Miami, 33165
