Pinecrest Gardens to present its Nights of Lights

Pinecrest Gardens' Nights of Lights features glittering, larger-than-life installations to celebrate the season in style. Peruse thousands of lights and wander through a holiday-themed maze.

This year's edition is scheduled for Dec. 9, 2023, through Jan. 6, 2024. Hours are 6-9 p.m. each day.

There will be treats and activities for kids and kids at heart, including a signature Pinecrest Gardens cocktail for adults and a dancing holiday tree and stories for families. Santa Claus is also expected to make special appearances.

Expect these events:

  • Photos with Santa from December 9 through December 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Bring your own camera.
  • Magical Storytime every night from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (except December 15 and 17).
  • Vintage train display by East Coast H O Exhibitors Society.
  • Face painting every night (except for December 9) from 7 to 8 p.m.
  • Shopping in the gift bazaar.
  • Pajama-themed nights on December 14 and 29. 
  • Holiday Carolers strolling December 16, 22, and 23 from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
  • Ugly Sweater-themed night on December 21. 
  • Beer Tasting on December 28 and 29 with the The Tank Brewery.
  • Silent Disco on January 4 and 5.

On selection nights, admission includes a holiday concert performance in the Banyan Bowl. Here is the schedule of music and dance performances:

  • Thursday, December 14: Dance Empire
  • Friday, December 15: Greater Miami Youth Symphony
  • Saturday, December 16: Maria Verdeja School of the Arts, The Nutcracker
  • Sunday, December 17: Mariachi Night
  • Wednesday, December 20: Alhambra Orchestra
  • Thursday, December 21: Miami Royal Ballet, The Nutcracker
  • Friday, December 22: Dance Steps, Holiday Lights
  • Friday, January 5: Dance Empire.

How much does it cost? Admission is $23 for adults and $18 for children 2 to 17. Parking is free. Click here to purchase tickets.

Pinecrest Gardens is a Village of Pinecrest publicly owned and operated outdoor recreation area at 11000 Red Road.
