The Perez Art Museum Miami is offering free museum admission on Martin Luther King’s Birthday to anyone who arrives by Metromover on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. A staff member will be at the Museum Park station to hand out the passes for free entry. There will be free exhibition tours at 11 a.m.. noon and 2:30 p.m. The tours last 45 minutes.
These are the regular free days at the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM):
- Free Second Saturdays, sponsored by Target, will include special free activities from 1 to 4 p.m., including family-friendly tours and chances for children to create art.
- The first Thursday of every month, and there will be talks, performances and movie screenings on Thursday nights, when the museum is open until 9 p.m.
- The first full weekend of every month, through the Bank of America’s Museums on Us program, which provides free admission the first weekend of every month to those with Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit cards.
