Music in Miami will present two more free concerts in its “Three Sundays in July” summer concert series.
Concerts will be
- Sunday, July 13: Classical to Latin. The program will include works by Beethoven, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Sergio Assad and Jose Lezcano on guitar, flute, viola, violin and bass.
- Sunday, July 20: A woodwind quintet and narration in English and Spanish of Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf,” plus a a medley inspired by video game music.
The concerts will be at 6 p.m. at Trinity Cathedral, 464 NE 16th St., Miami 33132. Free parking is behind the cathedral, and discount vouchers for the Omni garage will be available at the concert.
While there is no charge for the event, donations will be accepted.
Music in Miami is a nonprofit classical chamber music ensemble that collaborates with local professional musicians, providing South Florida an extraordinary and diverse experience in chamber music performance and composition.
