The Barnacle Historic State Park’s Under Moonlight Concert series runs every second Sunday of the month from September through May and features an impressive line-up of musicians.
Concerts are from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on the lawn of the historic bayfront site. Gates open at 5:30 pm, allowing time for concertgoers to set down their blankets and lawn chairs and find a comfortable spot to enjoy the show.
Concerts are $10 for adults, $8 for members of The Barnacle Society and $3 for children ages 6 to 9 (under 6 free). Flashlights recommended. No pets.
The 2017 line-up is as follows:
- Jan. 8: Four Shillings Short. This husband/wife duo from Ireland and Christy Martin from California give performances rooted in Celtic and American folk, and inspired by Indian Raga and Ethnic idioms.
- Feb. 12: J Street Revival. This duo joined forces to create their own unique sound of Country/Rock/Americana with Blues/Rock.
- April 9: Keith Johns. This Miami artist crafts music that includes all emotions, from joyous to sorrowful.
