Just like before a test, you’re going to want to get your rest, eat a good breakfast and have your brain in top shape before attending the 2014 Brain Fair. It’s on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science (Miami Science Museum), 3280 S. Miami Ave. Admission is $1.
The Miami Brain Fair is an educational event to teach kids how the brain works. Kids can touch and dissect a real brain, build a neuron from clay, play with visual illusions, and find out if they are a super taster. High school students can compete in the Brain Bee and Brain Jeopardy! for who knows the most brain facts. Additional activities include face painting and puppet shows about how the brain works.
