The third chance this year for Miami-Dade County residents to adopt two trees will take place on Saturday, December 1.
Mango trees only will be available at the following event, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Saturday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m. – noon at Gold Coast Railroad Museum.
Miami-Dade single-family or duplex homeowners are eligible to receive 2 free trees per year, even if they have adopted trees in past years.
At the event, residents can exchange their old showerheads and standard light bulbs for high-efficiency showerheads and compact fluorescent light bulbs.
