Learn the basics of improvisational theater in a small, relaxed improv class at Deering Estate at Cutler on Sunday, January 13, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for the class is $12 and includes entrance to the Estate. Class is for ages 18 and over . Heave over to the Visitor Center Exhibit Room.
Instructor Carlos Rivera is a 13-year veteran of the South Florida improv scene and a Mainstage Cast Member at the Just The Funny Theater & Training Center.
Classes are taught through classic theater warm-ups, exercises, and games. No prior experience is necessary. Explore skills like creative thinking, self-confidence, listening, brainstorming, teamwork, empathy and communication. Workshop size is limited.
