Here’s a way to celebrate Earth Day and have fun at the same time: Hope for the Earth is a concert and event to benefit the Audubon Society and Hopitaki, an Ecuadorean theater project of the Unitarian Universalists.
The event is 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Unitarian church, 7701 SW 76th Ave., Miami 33143. Suggested donation is $5.
Among the musicians will be Lani Nash, singer/songwriter out of Nashville; Grant Livingston, a South Florida icon for his environmental songs; Andy Waks, a local folk-blues-country-rock singer-songwriter and Three Sheets to the Wind, a Miami world music band.
The event will include mural painting with artist Sheri Friedman, yoga, massages, vegetarian food and more.
