If your city kids have never seen a cow, here’s the chance to see a lot of them. Spend the weekend in the great outdoors watching horses and cows on the agricultural catwalk during the three-day Miami International Agriculture, Horse & Cattle Show Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 13, at the Ronald Reagan Equestrian Center at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 St., Miami, FL. Admission is free all three days. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Aside from watching cattle and horse breeders parade their prized possessions in various contests, attendees can also watch performances by Medieval Times, a Senepol Cattle exhibition, Andalusian and Paso Fino horse shows, polo exhibition, team penning, cutting and reining events, horseback skills rifle and handgun shooting exhibition, farm animals, pony rides and gardening lectures.
There will also be food and beverage for sale, international music, a kids fun zone, arts and crafts, plus plant vendors and a farmers’ market.
