HistoryMiami: Historically black high schools discussion

The HistoryMiami museum will host a free panel discussion on Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. featuring individuals who were students at Miami’s five historically black high schools.

Until the 1960s, Miami’s African American teens attended high school at segregated facilities. Learn how they experienced segregation and how integration impacted their lives and their schools.
