Free Winterfest in Sunny Isles Beach

Heritage Park in Sunny Isles Beach transforms into a Winter Wonderland during Winterfest from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7. Admission is free.

There will be a tree lighting ceremony, arts and crafts, a visit from Santa Claus, live entertainment and carnival rides.

Wristbands for Carnival rides and ice skating are $5 for Sunny Isles Beach residents with ID and $20 for non-residents. The wrist bands also will be accepted , for ice skating from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 8. The bands can be purchased at Pelican Community Park, 18115 N. Bay Rd., or City Hall, 18070 Collins Ave.
