Free Shakespeare in the Park

According to festival organizers, 2021 dates are still TBD.

Florida Shakespeare Theater presents Shakespeare's “Macbeth” at various locations around Miami.

Jan. 3-5 at the North Beach Bandshell. Admission is free. Shows on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 6 p.m. Outside food and beverage and pets not permitted. Food for sale on site. Low lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. In case of rain, show will go on for 30 minutes then a determination will be made. For more info call (786) 453-2897.

Jan. 10-12 at Downtown Doral Park. Admission is free. Shows on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 5 p.m. Outside food and beverage permitted plus snacks for sale. Not pets permitted and seats available for rent $3 per chair. Low lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged as is packing a picnic. In case of rain, show will go on for 30 minutes then a determination will be made.

Jan. 17-19 at Barnacle State Historic Park in Coconut Grove. Admission is free; park suggests $2 donation per person. Shows on Friday and Saturday start at 8 pm; Sunday show starts at 6 pm. Gates open one hour prior to show. This venue features lawn seating. Bring a picnic, a blanket and a low lawn chair (or rent a chair for $5). No pets. Limited snacks and drinks available on site. Jan. 24-26 at Pinecrest Gardens. Admission is free but due to limited seating, tickets must be picked up at the door. Shows on Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday 6 p.m. Saturday's show will feature accessibility for individuals on the autism spectrum. Food and beverage available for purchase, no pets permitted, amphitheater seating. Covered seating so show goes on rain or shine. Call (305) 669-6990 for more info.
