neuterMiami-Dade Animal Services, in conjunction with The Cat Network and the ASPCA Community Partnership, will offer free spay and neutering for cats and dogs on Sunday, July 21, in Hialeah.

The service is available to all Miami-Dade residents, with a maximum of four animals per household. Appointments are required. To make an appointment for a dog, call 3-1-1-. To make an appoint for a cat spaying or neutering, call 305-233-9958. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Dogs up to 40 pounds can be vaccinated at the event.

Miami-Dade Animal Services will also be offering half-price adoptions at the event, which will be at Milander Park Recreation Center, 4700 Palm Ave., Hialeah. The event begans at 8 a.m.

Miami-Dade County provides discount spay and neuter services at the county shelter several days a week, plus is offering half-price adoptions on Wednesdays.
