The free summer film series at the Tropical Audubon Society is on, with a a free screening of “Plastic Paradise –The Great Pacific Garbage Patch” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 25, at 5530 Sunset Drive, Miami.
The film is by documentary filmmaker Angela Sun, who looks at the toll plastic is taking on animals and the environment. Agents of Aku Aku will perform iconic ’60s surf music before and after the 57-minute film.
Food for purchase will be available from Jefe’s Original Tacos & Burgers and PopNature and the donation Bird Bar will provide drinks.
The film will be screened outdoors if weather allows. If it rains or is too hot, the film will be shown inside.
While admission is free, donations will be accepted.
