Miami Jazz Society’s Miami Tower Film Series will screen two free films on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Reception with snacks and cash bar is held at 5 p.m. The first film begins at 6:15 p.m. The second film begins at 8:05 p.m.

Mahogany (1975) – Tracy, an aspiring designer from the slums of Chicago puts herself through fashion school in the hopes of becoming one of the world’s top designers. Her ambition leads her to Rome, spurring a choice between the man she loves or her newfound success. Starring Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams.

Camille (1936) – A Parisian courtesan must choose between the young man who loves her and the callous baron who wants her, even as her own health begins to fail. Starring Greta Garbo.

If you are parking at the Miami Tower after 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, parking is $1 an hour, $5 maximum. Metromover station: Knight Center
