Free Miami-Dade CountryFest at Tropical Park

Round 'em up cowboy! The rodeo's coming to Tropical Park when the 17th Annual Miami-Dade CountryFest home of the International Livestock Show and Rodeo takes place Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The rodeo is from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. each day.

What will you see there?

  • Cattle exhibition featuring some of the finest cattle breeds in the country
  • Horse show and rodeo with dressage, show jumping and barrel racing 
  • Farmville for kids with bunnies, lambs, goats and cows
  • Live music, line dancing and old-fashioned square dancing. Orlando Mendez and others will take the stage
  • Pioneer Play Zone with a mega slide, games and other fun activities. 
  • Vendor market featuring handmade crafts, produce and artisanal goods for sale
  • Food trucks with everything from burgers and fries to seafood and vegetarian options for sale
