Free Gables Gallery Night on first Fridays

Gables Gallery Night is one of Miami's longest running first Friday of the month events, spanning nearly four decades now. The evening is a great way to visit the multitude of galleries in the City Beautiful.

Click here to see a list of participating galleries open from 6-10 p.m.

While traipsing through Downtown Coral Gables, make a stop at the Coral Gables Museum when admission is free. Check out their exhibits, enjoy live music by rotating artists every month as well as a cash bar.

Ideas for parking and getting around for Gallery Night here. After you have looked at the art, you can drop by Giralda Avenue for free live music from 8 to 10 p.m.

Additionally, visit Giralda Ave. to view:

Cielo Tejido: A Woven Sky, on view through July featuring colorful, handwoven textiles crafted by women artisans from Etzatlán, Mexico an installation celebrating traditional craftsmanship and cultural exchange.

A second installation, Giralda in Bloom: A Floral Canopy, will debut in August, featuring hundreds of floral-patterned umbrellas suspended overhead.
