Are you fishing for some family fun? Sunday, June 1, to Sunday, June 8, is National Fishing and Boating Week, a celebration of fishing and boating every year. The week highlights the benefits of recreational boating and fishing, as well as preserving our country’s natural beauty.
Most importantly, for frugal families, it’s when many states offer Free Fishing Days. Anglers of all ages are allowed to fish on public bodies of water without a license. For a list of participating states and dates, click here.
