Easter egg hunts and bunny photos in Miami

Miami is preparing for a fun Easter season … complete with egg hunt adventures and photo opportunities for the entire family. 

Easter is set for Sunday, March 31, 2024. But be aware that not all holiday-themed events will take place on that specific date.

Miami-Dade County

City of Hialeah Eggstravaganza

The City of Hialeah hosts a massive egg hunt, with more than 50,000 eggs hidden for the kiddos to find! Enjoy this experience and more on March 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Milander Park, 4700 Palm Ave.

The event includes live entertainment, rides and interactive inflatables and you'll even get a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Tickets start at $6 for the egg hunt and also for photos with the bunny, $15 for rides and $18 for an all access wristband. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.

Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt

Event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at Miami Lakes Veterans Park, 15151 NW 82 Ave., Miami our family-favorite egg hunt. Also purchase tickets for $5 for face painting, petting zoos, and pony ride fun. There will be four egg hunt stations at this year's event for the following ages: 0-2; 3-5; 6-8 (Parent-free zone); 9-12 (Parent-free zone). Click here to register.

Spring Egg Hunt

North Miami Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park, 1725 NE 135 St., North Miami for kids 12 and under with an egg hunt at 11 a.m. along with games and prizes. Tickets $2.40-$5. Click here for more info.

Easter Egg Hunt

Event is set for 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, at Goodlet Park, 4200 W . 8 Ave., Hialeah with egg hunt, bounce houses, games, prizes, lots of candy and photos with the Easter bunny. Admission is free.  Make sure to RSVP online.  

11th Annual Easter Day Eggstravaganza presents Spring & Easter Fun

Community celebration on Sunday, March 31 from noon to 5 p.m. at Nathaniel Traz Powell Stadium, 11380 NW 27 Ave. with an Easter basket for the first 500 children registered, two Easter Egg Hunts for Group A: Ages 0 – 5 Group B: Ages 6 and above, live shows, Easter Field Day games, a Kid Zone with rides and games including mechanical rides, inflatables, rock climbing, gaming and more. Eggstreme Egg Hunts around Coral Gables

Kiddos Magazine & CityPlace Doral present a Spring and Easter celebration on Saturday, March 16, from 2-7 p.m. A family-friendly with Art with Fun station, train rides, toddler play area, hula hoop contest, egg hunts at 3:30 p.m. for 2-4 years old; 4 p.m. for 5-7 years old and 4:30 p.m. for 8-11 years old followed by pictures with the Easter Bunny. Easter Egg Hunt and Concert

Easter at Tinez Farms

Easter festivities happen on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Sunday, March 31 at 16405 SW 177 Ave., Miami. Admission includes entrance to the farm,  pictures with the Easter Bunny, an easter egg hunt with an average of 10 – 12 eggs per child,  access to the animal barnyard, walk through the garden maze, Tinez yard games, playtime in the bounce house, bubble tubing slide, live music, kids activities, photo-ops and zip lines. Purchasing tickets online is highly encouraged since only a limited amount of ticket are sold in person. Adults $19, kids ages 2-12 $17. Click here for info and to purchase tickets.

Egg-Venture at Zoo Miami

Explore Zoo Miami in a whole different way with this mobile egg hunt experience.

Through March 31, Egg-Venture will offer visitors the opportunity to use an app on their mobile phones to search for clues and find 6 of 12 eggs hidden throughout the walkways. Guests may redeem their prize of six treat-filled, eco-friendly eggs.

Of course, families may also enjoy the zoo grounds and animal residents!
