Love Rock at Sweat Records

Sweat Records is one of Miami’s last standing record stores (think Empire Records). This Valentine’s Day, Sweat is hosting a live musical event that will combine the sounds of ’90s R&B, psychedelic, jazz and rock, all in celebration of love. If you are a fan of the unforgettable smooth sounds of Sade, then this is something you won’t want to miss.

Art Wynwood Valentine’s Day After-Party

The Bakehouse Art Complex will be hosting an Art Wynwood After-Party featuring exhibits from Miami’s best artists. In honor of Valentine’s Day, many of the exhibits will be love themed. They will also be debuting two new exhibits by up and coming artists.

Segafredo Brickell is hosting a fun game for singles where you can pretend to be a celebrity for a night. If you can’t get enough of celebrity romance gossip, head on over to Segafredo, get yourself a celebrity name tag and find your celebrity couple match by the end of the night. Those who find their celebrity matches get a free cocktail.

For those who are into calmer scenes, Books & Books is hosting New York Times bestselling author Robin Oliveira. She will be discussing her new book, I Always Loved You, which is about the famous love affair between post-Civil War American artist Mary Cassatt and French artist Edgar Degas.

7th Annual Big Wedding Bash at Tobacco Road

Each year Tobacco Road hosts a big Vegas wedding themed party complete with bands, photographers, certificates, an ordained minister and of course, Elvis. If you’re in love and would like to get married, Tobacco Road can do it for you. All you have to do is RSVP and bring the court papers. To date , more than 150 couples have married at the bar on Valentine’s Day.

You can also go to enjoy the festivities and free live music, all in celebration of love.
