Free student concert at MDC Wolfson Campus

jazz-bandThe 12- to 18-year-old student musicians that attended the Fernando Jones Blues Camp at the New World School of the Arts will show off what they learned at a Blues Camp Concert on Friday, Aug. 1, from 1-3 p.m. at the Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus, 300 NE 2 Ave., Auditorium, Miami.

During the week-long camp, students were taught by Fernando Jones, a Columbia College Chicago faculty member and Blues Ensemble director.

The concert is the final performance of the camp and features open seating and is open to all ages. Admission is free.
