The Miami Downtown Development Authority wants a portion of Biscayne Boulevard without cars.
So they are launching the Biscayne Green pilot project, a public space ‘intervention’ that will temporarily reclaim parking medians for free public programming and re-imagine Biscayne Boulevard as a public park and pedestrian promenade.
Visitors will be able to enjoy food tastings from local culinary masters, outdoor movie screenings, live concerts, dancing and more from Jan.6-26.
